Ryan Leslie - Ryan Leslie


Let me first say that I never liked Ryan Leslie, so remember that. As a producer, he's not bad, pretty good actually, but he CANNOT sing. I don't understand. I feel like I'm the only one that hears how terrible his voice is. Let's not talk about his rapping. So overall, maybe listen to this album if you're in a dancing mood.

Young Dro - Best Thang Smokin'


I used to love this album. Young Dro is just fun to listen to. When you can understand what he's saying. And the production is great.

Iron & Wine - The Shepherd's Dog


What kind of music is this? I had a hard time putting this into a genre. But I loved it. It makes me want to sit on my porch in a rocking chair for hours at a time. This came really close to getting 5 stars. Keep trying Drue.

Super hit & miss on this album. And whoever made the track list is stupid(I have the European track list). I actually re-arranged the songs in my itunes cause of how bad it was.

ELO - Greatest Hits Vol. 1


The fact that this album is considered "Symphonic Rock" just makes me happy. But it's actually really good too. They remind me a lot of Hall & Oates, which is a very, very, very good thing.

Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness


This album went back and fourth for me. At some points, I love it, and at some points I literally make the "ehhh" face. Overall, it's a super laid back album, and I will definitely be falling asleep to it in the future.

Simon & Garfunkel - The Definitive Collection


I couldn't find 'Sounds of Silence', so I picked this up instead. Soooo many good songs on this album. I'm starting to actually like folk music. Which is weird, but whatever.

Nickelback - All the Right Reasons


Nickelback kinda let me down. I mean, 'Photograph' and 'Rockstar' are great, but nothing else really impressed me. If Nickelback ever makes a 'Best of' album, it will be amazing, because they manage two good songs per album. Sorry Arlena.

Even if I didn't like The Mars Volta, I'd pretend I did just because of their name. Luckily I don't have to pretend cause I really do love this album. They get fucking weird at some points, but they do it in the coolest way. I don't care if that last sentence doesn't make sense. Go buy this.

WTF? How did I not already have this album? Green Day used to be so good. This album makes me want to eat pizza and play Tony Hawk. And for some reason I feel like they're talking to me directly. I'm weird. Anyways, buy this album. Yes, buy it. It feels good to hold in your hands.

Flipsyde - We the People


I've always liked Flipsyde but I've never owned any of their albums. I really like the hip-hop-guiitar thing that they do.

Wait, thank you so much for this Drue. I heard "Mary Jane's Last Dance" a super long time ago, and I always wondered who sang it. So basically, I love this CD.

Regina Spektor - Begin to Hope


The female artists that I listen to with the most regularity are such supreme being's that it's really tough to impress me. Regina Spektor's album is ALRIGHT. I mean, I like it, but every song reminds me of the one before it. Except 'Fidelity', which just happens to be my favorite song. Sorry Lily.

I love Elton John. He's part of the reason I play the piano. This album is just more goodness to throw on the pile.

For some reason I always thought Everlast was a rock group? I don't know, but anyways, I really like this. The production is excellent, and his voice flows perfectly over all of the songs. Thanks.

When I was in like 7th grade, I thought "Happy Holidays, You Bastard" was the funniest song ever. The lyrics are completely random at times, but this album makes me happy.
